Whilst working at Nascent Games I had worked on an unreleased IP called "Clayhem" a physics based brawler, where the characters are all made of clay and can crush, squash and wack each other and absorb their opponents to gain size.
I had the opportunity to create the base clay material that would feature on all the characters and clay elements within the game. I tried to mimic kids air-dry clay/Plasticine in a range of colours. I also created a stylized wood material that would be applied to all of the toy building blocks which came in a few different colours
Designed in Substance Designer and tweaked some in Photoshop & Substance Painter.
The clay material can be created in any colour.
